    I have this one on my plugin list and I have it activated sitewide but when I go to the ‘Invite Friends’ page and check one of the services it comes up without a username/email or password box? I am using version 0.8 of this plugin and Buddypress 1.0.3 and WordPress MU 2.8.2

    @Sandeepdude,

    I would love to give you some helpful tips here, but I didn’t really do anything to it. I just installed the newest version and entered my API keys and the like for the different messengers. If it helps, I can post file versions, settings and the like. But yeah, not sure if I did anything special. I had a hell of a time getting it to work with 1.0.2, but when I upgraded to .3 damn near everything starting going without a hitch.

    Is there any news on BP1.1 compatibility, Giovanni?

    Hey Giovanni,

    Is this plugin working at the moment? I’m using bp 1.1.1 and haven’t seen an update for it.

    Thanks,

    George

    Tried the plugin yesterday… it’s pretty badly broken, as far as I can tell.

    By the way, after casting about for a similar solution, I’m using a free widget from http://tellafriend.socialtwist.com (which will generate a plugin or sidebar widget code for you for WP), which has all the same functionality (plus more, including arbitrary email addresses as well as Gmail etc address book retrieval and Facebook and Twitter and the usual), throwing the code into an Advanced Text Widget (where you can add code as well as text — it’s a plugin from the WP repository), and putting the widget on the homepage. Works great.

    Yeah, I know, security issues, but.

    I’ve seen a number of forums on this plugin on various sites and I’m not sure if it’s supported anymore.
    I tried it and failed to get it going.
    I’m not sure if Giovanni may have given up on it, as he doesn’t seem to have replied on any posts in a long time.
    I hope he’s ok!

    sorry to all… i have not time to fix problem with new version of bp….
    i work so more time..

    sorry again

    There’s a really huge problem with the plugin’s current version. A fix is really needed… I had blank page error with it.
