Add New Groups To A Moderation Queue

Hi All,

Is there any plugin(s) or code edits that would allow you to moderate the creation of groups, eg. Once a user creates a new group it is automatically added to a queue in the backend where the Admin has to approve it before it is actually created. This would eliminate unwanted groups and duplicates.

I searched and haven’t found what I am looking for. Also I have checked out these plugins:

And they don’t have this functionality, yet anyway.

fwiw – a queue is on my todo list for restrict group creation – though no timeline when i’ll get that done.

It’s a bit old now, but have a look at https://trac.buddypress.org/ticket/1150 if any developer wants to attempt this.
