BP 1.2 and Group Extension API

Has anyone been able to use the group extension API with the final 1.2 release? I had a plugin following this template:

It was working for 1.2-rare, but now, nothing. The menu item does not show up. I’ve been able to debug to find out my extension class is not being instantiated.

I’m using it for my two plugins without any issues.

Your post was actually a big help. I downloaded your activity plugin, and found out what my problem was:

I was using:

add_action('bp_init','my_loader_function');

What I needed:

add_action('plugins_loaded','my_loader_function',1);

I see from your comments you may have run into a similar issue. Thanks again.

Ah, no worries.

The code I used was posted by DJPaul a while back and that seems to work a lot better for me than the ‘proper’ way. I’ve no idea why.
