I’ve just innstalled Buddypress. When visiting my site I do get an option to log in. However there is no place to create an account for new users.

To clarify, while the text above the logon field says: To start connecting please log in first. You can also create an account in the Buddypress preview. Half of the text is missing on my site as it only says: To start connecting please log in first. Obviously if users can’t create an account the can’t log in.

Am I missing something? I would appreciate any advice on this matter?

did you enable allow users to register on your blog?
