Hi Team!
I would like to create a Sign Up/ Register page to join my BuddyPress social network. I am using BP as a way to communicate to students. This service will be made available to students for a small fee. How do I create a Registration page with an eCommerce element (using PayPal etc) so that the registration only works if the payment is processed?
Even if this eCommerce option is not available, how would I implement a registration page that is only available to people who have paid?

I would use the s2member plugin to achieve what you want. It’s not so easy to setup as other plugins, but there’s lots of documentation that should get you started.
