bp 1.2.3 is an old version with a lot of bug, as I said on BP Italy, update your installation to the latest stable version (1.2.4.1) and your issue is resolved

Finally the “normal” version of BuddyPress Default theme for bbPress is ready for the download.

This theme DOES NOT require the deep integration.

the only difference is the blog tracking for BP and the blog creation in MU or “network” in WP3.0

wp-blog-header.php is the old file to include, add at the top just after <?php the require_once…. with the full path to wp-load.php

do you have at the very top of bb-config.php require_once(‘/full/path/to/wp-load.php’); ?

no, i don’t have group forums show in the same page as bbpress (standalone), the subdomain with bbpress is a standalone bbpress installation deeply integrated with wp, and the group forum directory at /forums with no link in the header

you can have:

– buddypress + group forum

– buddypress + bbpress

– buddypress + group forum + bbpress

i’ve the last configuration on buddypress italy and works without problem.
