@Manu, It still is not solved. That being said I’m using and older version of the theme and suspect it may be rosolved by upgrading to the newest release. If that does not do it, I’m sure the developers will releasing and up date or fix ASAP.

Okay it is installed. One more quick question, is the plugin supposed to retroactively remove ‘targeted’ AS updates or does it only work on ones posted after the plugin has been installed?
Unfortunatly, I’m pretty sure creating child thems is beyound me and I’m not sure how do that while using a Genisis Buddy theme. Maybe @andrea_r has some advice. Also is not soemthing that could be added to your BuddyPress Restrict Group Creation plugin or Deryk’s BuddyPress Announce Group?
I’m very scrade of breaking things when a mess about in the back end.
I have got the same thing going on “There was an error when creating the topic”.
People on our site have been telling me that this has been a problem for them but I never had it happen until today. This is firststarted happening I tired posting to a group which I did note create myself. its been like ten tried now and still no luck?
I found the setting in the Discussion Settings are and they are enabled so I guess it’s an issue with the theme. Anyone know of an easy way to add this feature to the theme?
I thought I’d share a work around I came up with. Create a blog the old fashion way for use with the desired group and then simply select it from the existing blogs drop down on the GB set up page.
Thanks for updating this so fast. I thought it might be a while and so I was really glad to see this post.
That bieng said I have run into the following problem.
When creating a new GB my only option for location is ww.mysiite.com/GB. I’m set up for ww.GB.mystie. After creating a GB the Blog page just seem to pull my main sites blog.
You still need t odo some tweaking. There should be some instruction as part the plugins walkthrough. I think on the last page before you hit finsh. No so good at that stuff myself. Sorry I can’t be of more help.
