Sorry I’m still confused on what the issue is and how to fix it still…
Also take note the comment I posted which is on the front page shows this time in my database,
2010-01-14 14:11:09 – 2010-01-14 07:11:09
The comment right after me on that blog shows the following time,
2010-01-14 02:30:24 – 2010-01-14 07:30:24
Hi Boone,
I did check and it was set to +7 she is from Europe.
My blog is the other issue blog and it’s -5
I set hers to -5 also to see if that would change anything and it didn’t.
Eventually the times catch up with each other. I noticed a blog article that Ilean wrote last night it once said [Use GMT Timezone] but now it says 6 hours, 9 minutes ago
But it was really like 14 hours ago.
You might be right about the future thing…
So far this issue is affecting the following.
1. Blog Articles.
2. New Register Members.
3. Blog Comments.
For both comments and articles I only see
comment_date comment_date_gmt
and
post_date post_date_gmt
I’m not even sure what I would look for to see those entries. Specifically the database tables.
I’m so frustrated right now it’s ridiculous.
This issues has been happening for five days I’m trying to run a community of bloggers here but apparently buddy press cant even handle that.
What hasn’t a developer replied to this or tried to help me yet?
Yes that would had been the correct time. 3:08 EST
Do you think this has something to do with the [Use GMT timezone] bug?
P.S. in the admin CP what would EST be ?? It’s a bit confusing… – how many UTC
– 5
Also for the record the only people that seem to be affected are myself and Blazingminds.
Both original accounts of my subdomain name installation. I switched back over to adding no to vhost in the config file.
Perhaps that has something to do with it.
maybe a clear cache option would be great!
Pligg has one you click it and it clears the cache!
I’m in Canada so EST
For the record this is still happening and it’s been four days with no fix.
@dennissmolek it’s bloggingwire dot com
@Boone Gorges
1. The links move down eventually to only be replaced by other blog articles that do the same thing.
If you look at the site you will see older stuff at the top and newer stuff at the bottom.
I do have time stamp issues but it’s not sure if it’s actually related. All my time stamp say
[Use GMT Timezone] ago
Sign up create and account and you will see as you view your own activity.

FYI
My issue is basic. Old stuff is staying at the top of the activity stream and not moving down as it should.
Why is it stuck up top? All new activity is being placed below the bottom of the stream.
Can anyone help me on this it’s affecting the quality of my website dramatically.
Vipers Video Quicktags is really nice!
Great suggestion thanks.
I think the better question is why is the option missing anyways?
There’s a solution but it’s not available in wpmu? The Insert or embed video option worked amazing.
These options don’t allow you to INSERT MEDIA
My members want to add you tube links.
Normally when adding a new post beside the “””Insert custom character””” there is a Insert or embed video option.
Right now there is no Insert or embed video option
Please advise on how to get this.
The grayed out images only allow you to link to a video or upload a video.
Thanks,
Brian
I have selected all three check boxes yet there is no Insert or embed video option beside the Insert custom character like in the wordpress default installation.
Is it not available for wpmu?
So far I have tested I can only add video links….
Well from what I can tell the date stamps are fine.
I really have no clue why it’s happening but it’s really affecting the quality of my website
Anyone with a fix or suggestion it would be greatly appreciated
Thanks,
brian
Spammers are always an issues do follow or no follow lol.
Being the owner of blogengage a pligg powered website I’m very aware of do follow spam issues it’s very bad.
So do we have a solution to this?
I tried the plugins and they don’t’ work.
Any other suggestions to making a do follow community?
please and thanks this is important to bloggers!!!
Do we have a time line for 1.2
Also is this what is making the blog stories stay at the top of the activity stream?
Hi John,
After I did the domain name move I forgot to remove the attribute /club from the wpconfig file.
Silly me
I have this working now.
Thanks,
Brian

I also just noticed it’s proceeding the blogs with a folder name /blog/
perhaps something I missed during the domain transfer.
Any suggestions on this?
UP date:
manually editing the blog in the admin removing the proceeding /blog/ makes it work.
Suggestions on removing the proceeding /club from sign up?
Good Point but it’s more or less for the members at blogengage so they can still get sent to the new site!
So what about a fix?
Nothing until the date you mentioned?
Is this causing my activity to mess up as mentioned here?
https://buddypress.org/forums/topic/activity-stream-not-working
I seriously need help with this it’s still happening
Anyone?
Thanks that worked perfect!
