    With my last template you could see the owner of the blog in the buddy press admin bar while visiting the actual blog.

    This is probably easy to add.

    I think I may have found a bug but I’m not sure! It could be just with my site.

    When a user updated a blog article it’s sent back to the top of the activity feed.

    Any one else experiencing this?

    After editing an article and selecting update my article once again appeared in the top of the activity list.

    This might be a bug

    oh yes sorry I meant for this option to be on the members blog page. Normally I could see the users profile in the admin bar and it linked me to his or her profile page to mark as a spammer.

    With this template I have to manually find out who the members of that blog is.

    Is anyone following what I’m saying?

    sorry for the confusion.

    I was using the forums that needed to be set up using the groups. I don’t recall a forum directory but there may had been one. I think I used the built in bbPress version that came with 1.1

    Once I overwrote the files I noticed the page was not found.

    Good call on the error logs :)

    It looks to be an htaccess file issue.

    All the forum topics cannot be accessed nor can the forums their selves.

    Any suggestions?

    DJ Paul thanks for the help but I cannot go backwards apparently.

    I’m stuck with this trunk version.

    @bbrian017

    I got the site running the latest trunk version.

    I lost out in 80 USD it seems for the custom template (maybe)

    I’m having issues with the forums loading now. It’s saying page not found.

    See here, https://buddypress.org/forums/topic/forums-not-showing-up-after-trunk-update

    I used the buddy press installation I don’t think it ever actually created a forums directory did it?

    Any other suggestions?

    Andy I didn’t “run an update plugin” I simply overwrite the existing files.

    Does this mean I’m still running the older version?

    Unless by plugin you mean files and it auto updates when you add the new files.

    Also regaridng that plugin do you think that will allow me to use my existing theme or fix my current trunk issues?

    I await your confirmation before proceeding any further.

    Thanks,

    Brian

    When I uploaded the trunk files I never ran a database upgrade…

    Does it run this database upgrade without me knowing?

    No I do not have a back up.

    @bbrian017

    After reverting back from this “upgrade” my site activity is no longer working!

    Guys I need help fixing this issue so I can still use my theme that I paid 80 USD for.

    Please help me fix the Site Wide Activity issue?

    Thanks,

    Ok FYI I reverted back to the newest release (not the trunk version) and my website is working perfect again.

    Why is the trunk version causing so many issue for me?

    I renamed the twire folder and I was able to access my admin.

    I activated the buddy press once again and my site is working.

    Very scary.

    Check out this article, https://buddypress.org/forums/topic/clicked-deactivate-buddy-press-now-white-screen-appears

    I simply deactivated it using the admin CP.

    I renamed all the plugin folders and still no luck.

    Why would deactivating buddy press break a WPMU installation anyways?

    @bbrian017

    Participant

    I deactivated buddy press as suggested in order to upload the “trunk” version and now I’m getting a blank white screen :)

    I’m assuming it’s due to a plugin and or a theme but right now I cannot access the admin cp or the main website.

    Any suggestions to get it back up and running would be great lol.

    Where do I get a copy of the trunk guys?

    @bbrian017

    When I upload those files and overwrite my old ones I get a blank white screen.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi Guys, I see there is a change set file to download.

    Should I download that and overwrite the files on my server?

    Thanks,

    Brian
