BuddyPress xProfiles ACL hasn’t been updated in almost 2 years so I doubt it is compatible with the current version of BP. You can always request support from the plugin authors support forum but from what I can see the author has not been active on that forum in over a year. -

Anything is possible if you have the skill to accomplish it. What your trying to do shouldn’t be too hard if you know WP and BP. The person that could perhaps shed more light is @sbrajesh from http://buddydev.com since it is his plugin and he is one of the best BuddyPress developers out there period. Don’t discount however the other…[Read more] -

Haven’t tried this one yet because I usually build my own redirect functions but it may fit your requirements.

Not a plugin but a tutorial. You may need to make adjustments depending on your theme but it is pretty straightforward if you know what parts need to be modified. I advise to only use this on a child theme as does the tutorial.

bp-help replied to the topic [Resolved] How to delete users? in the forum How-to & Troubleshooting 11 years, 4 months ago
@samuelboland
In dashboard/settings/buddypress/components make sure you click the box beside account settings and save. Otherwise it won’t show up! -
bp-help replied to the topic [Resolved] How to delete users? in the forum How-to & Troubleshooting 11 years, 4 months ago
@samuelboland
The user can also just click the my account menu in the top right of the toolbar then click settings/delete account. Either way it does the same thing. Good luck! -

Also note if you are logged in as the admin what @hnla said applies but you will not see the delete account link in profile/settings/delete account. -

If the user clicks profile in the my account menu in the top right of the toolbar they will be taken to profiles page. In the lower navigation click settings/delete account! -

I have never heard of anyone losing data by activating a different theme. That sounds kinda nuts to be honest. You may have to re-assign your menu though if you have made a custom menu and switch themes. I personally don’t know that theme and I shy away from anything that would make my content reliant on a particular theme. Just my…[Read more] -

Sounds like a theme issue. Have you tried activating twenty twelve theme to see if you can isolate it down to the theme? It sounds like a jquery issue at first glance. So try that and report back your findings. -
bp-help replied to the topic Missing content..advice needed in the forum Installing BuddyPress 11 years, 4 months ago
That is basically the members page. Go to dashboard/settings/buddypress/pages beside “Members” click the dropdown and select the workstations page and click save. That will associate your members page with the workstations page you had previously created.

Please be more specific. Is this a BuddyPress page or just a standard WordPress page that is missing content? Also give as much detail as you can about your install. -
bp-help replied to the topic BuddyPress activity stream comments bug with this theme in the forum How-to & Troubleshooting 11 years, 4 months ago
@whitewolf1988
Looks like your using a test server anyhow so go ahead and try BP 1.7 and if it resolves the issue then you can upgrade to BP 1.8 when the theme author has updated this theme to work with BP 1.8. Sorry if this is not a complete solution but that is the risk you take when purchasing themes that are overly complex and are not promptly…[Read more] -
bp-help replied to the topic Strange Width in Buddypress in the forum How-to & Troubleshooting 11 years, 4 months ago
@mafaldam
Supply a link like karmatosed said. Did this happen automatically or after you made some changes? Supply as much info as you can about your install. Did you maybe accidentally hit
Ctrl and -(minus) if so it will make the page width shrink. If so hit Ctrl +(plus). - Load More
