@naijaping
Hi, I also noticed the “All stream” link takes you to a page not found. Its probably something you could fix simply. Thanks again!
Regards,
bphelp@naijaping
Looks good but I did notice this bug when you login on the home page it then redirects you to wp-login.php and kicks out this login error:ERROR: Cookies are blocked or not supported by your browser. You must enable cookies to use WordPress.
However when you click the link back to bp timeline at the bottom of wp-login.php it does redirect you back as a logged in user. Other than that it looks really great! If I find anymore issues I will report them back to you here.
Sincerely,

Please be more specific because if you remove everything it will be a blank page!In reply to: Mastermind: BuddyPress Education Open Sourced@julianprice
I believe the codex itself provides a lot of info for beginners to intermediate BP users, thanks to all the BP codex contributors. I agree with @danbp on a lot of his points. Every individuals needs are totally different and there is really no way to generalize every ones specific needs and that is where the forums come in handy because then they can voice specifically their requirements and hopefully someone who has had the same requirements can help them out. Anyway that is my 2 cents worth.
Sincerely,

Just to confirm this is as @henrywright stated a theme issue so I would advise trying out other themes that is known to work with BP like Twenty Thirteen or Twenty Fourteen then see if the issue still persists then report back.In reply to: Custom Activity loop@mika89
Please review:
You will need to copy the buddypress folder from your-site\wp-content\plugins\buddypress\bp-templates\bp-legacy\buddypress
Place this in the root of your child theme. Then simply navigate to activity\activity-loop.php in that same folder and make your changes there. Just remember the folder structure needs to stay the same as it was when you copied it over to your child theme. In reply to: Feature request: New user moderation@okamiokami
You can test some of the solutions in this ticket that simply stops the activation email from being sent then use BP’s new build in activation to manually activate the users. Of coarse I haven’t tested this but its worth a shot.

Ahh I see! Sorry I misunderstood you. It does look nice.

The bp-default theme that ships with BP is being retired so in the future there will not be a theme that ships with BP in favor of theme compatibility. If I was in your position I would just focus on making a really good WordPress theme with standard template structures and it should work with BuddyPress. The bonus is if the theme is good and works with just WP then you’ve not pigeon holed your profit to just BP users. In reply to: BuddyPress theme – Looking for ideas@aronprins
There is no point in creating a BuddyPress theme any more since 1.7 see:
any theme that has standard WordPress template structure is compatible so basically all you have to do is create a standard WordPress theme.

Have installed bbPress yet? You will need it installed and activated. In reply to: Change “Sitewide Activty” header the right way?@protechig
Have you tried using the language file approach? In reply to: Change “Sitewide Activty” header the right way?@protechig
There is no front end dashboard. Can you be more specific in what “text” needs to be changed and I will try to help you?In reply to: Text in fields linked – by design?@sooskriszta
Sounds cool if there was a box or something beside each field in the dashboard/profile fields for admins to choose to be linkable. In reply to: Text in fields linked – by design?@djpaul
Seems simple enough to add a simple setting in the BP dashboard settings. Would be great to see this added in the future. Cheers! In reply to: [Resolved] Very slow queries@j-j
I just registered on your site, feel free to delete the account now but I can’t replicate the 502 error. I logged in jumped from page to page and never got the error so I dunno! Sorry but I tried! In reply to: [Resolved] Very slow queries@j-j
Have you perhaps tried several different browsers and see if the error persists? In reply to: Wording for “Check Your Email For Activation”@natleg22
If you followed the instructions you shouldn’t have an issue. I always translate on my local dev environment and then FTP it to the live server. If you feel uncomfortable doing this then you may want to consider hiring someone to do it for you. No more than your asking for it shouldn’t cost much more than $30.00 but that is totally up to the developer. In reply to: Wording for “Check Your Email For Activation”@natleg22
Re-read the instructions please it is the most proper way to complete your requirement and the instructions are explained clearly in the link provided. In reply to: Wording for “Check Your Email For Activation”@natleg22
The correct approach to this is to use a language file. Please review:In reply to: How to create LinkedIn with Buddypress?@mldia
This is a random guess but:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-linkedin-buddystream/In reply to: 2.1 top featuresI would still like to see at least some basic BP site privacy built into the core so I can eventually retire some plugins I did because I don’t have as much time to support them as I used too. I guess I could put them up for adoption.
In reply to: Minecraft ValidatorNot certain this is a fix for your issue but anyway:
