    • Perhaps. The thing you need to do first is ensure that your WordPress installation is working 100%; that you can create, edit and delete blog posts, register new users and post comments to blog. If you run regular WordPress (i.e. without multisite functionality), be sure to change the Permalinks setting in the WP Admin pages to something other…[Read more]

  • I am having the same problems. I have been trying to install the buddypress plugin for three days. Any other plugin installs fine. Buddypress will not install. I have not found a solutionyet. I have tried everything. This should not be so hard. Buddypress is not my buddy.

  • I deleted all other plugins and it still will not work. I try to add BuddyPress plugin and it begins with this message:
    Downloading install package from https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/buddypress.1.2.4.1.zip.
    Unpacking the package.
    But nothing happens.

  • I am in the process of trying out the BuddyPress Plugin. First impression is that it is an awesome plugin. But now I after problems installing in wordpress and how slow posting and navigating is on this site I am reconsidering. Is BuddyPress slow on smaller sites as well?
