resolved. i just went in and removed the htaccess file in the members directory.

After de-activating and then re-activating buddypress, my pages are all there … but when trying to view as a page, I get Page Not Found. I did the toggle to troubleshoot another issue. I’ve also been toggling the other plugins. So far, no joy.

UPDATE! Just activated “WP User Avatar”. It allowed me to save the new avatar.

Once saved, the Save button went away on multiple screens I checked.
I then DE-ACTIVATED and Save button came back.

Merci … A few moments ago, I logged onto another laptop into the site. I started checking some buddypress media settings and went to save and the save button was gone, again!

So, last night I hadn’t narrowed anything down, as I turned off a dozen or so in steps then back on, which gave me back my save button.

Hi. I’m not seeing a save option when i try to edit a custom profile field. So, I was going to toggle the “extended profiles” by un-checking then re-activating. I can un-check but there’s no save. Another no save issue. Can anyone tell me what i might be overlooking?

You can disregard the theme editor concern, as I’m just not going to use it.

If you have any ideas about where the save button could be hiding for the profile field edit screen, this would be all I’m looking for help on now.

Typically, I have used ftp to update child theme files an continue to do so.

Today, I haven’t had done much on the site. A quick rundowN where it all started.

Hi. Is there an upload option I’m overlooking possibly, or a plugin to allow BP users to use their own avatar? I use a plugin to provide a default avatar, but just noticed in testing users are told to create an avatar at gravitar. Is there an option other than sending users away from my site to set a profile pic?

Oh…while I’m at this, I came up with another question, related:

Is there any option/strategy you know of that would allow me to use an image in place of the page title text? In other words, I’m wondering how I might use images for my page titles, just for aesthetics. Probably a stretch, but figured I’d inquire.

Does anyone know any plugins which will enable a site owner to offer credit purchasing of any sort?

The user would purchase credits
The site sends 90% of cost of credits to an email address/paypal account
The site keeps 10% of each transaction
The users who purchase credits are listed on a leaderboard, based upon credits purchased.
