I’m not sure how updating core would affect your custom theme… unless you had made the changes to the theme inside the buddypress directory, which would have been overridden with the upgrade.

No, they do different things. You can’t expect BuddyPress to set a bbPress setting, or vice-versa. If you run bbPress 2.0 with the bundled version that comes with BuddyPress, you need a little elbow grease.

I’m assuming you’re using BuddyPress 1.2.x? I think this was a bug we fixed in BuddyPress 1.5.

That error is with the Bp Album plugin, not BuddyPress. It’s a core WP function, however, so it’s a little odd that is causing errors. Probably the album plugin needs updating.

This error is from bbPress, not BuddyPress. I suggest you turn down PHP’s warning level.

Are you on a custom theme? Can you share a link? Can you test with the BPDefault theme?

ElDitcho: Yes, you either need to put the BuddyPress forum directory under a different page name, or change bbPress’ forum to live under a different name.
