I wouldn’t spend time translating those screens just yet; text isn’t finished, and those are mostly placeholders. Wait until BP 1.7 beta 2.

p.s. yes I know beta 1 isn’t out yet, but it will be soon 😉

We have a 1.6.3 out very, very soon to address a few minor issues, but BP is compatible with WP 3.5, yes.

It’s sort of supported, but not a high priority for me right now. I need to release an update for compatibility with WP 3.5 and when I do that, I’ll test registering a new user and will try to fix any problem.

Not sure it’s easily possible. You’d have to update the theme templates, which is safe enough, but I think there are some strings in the actual PHP code. That’s much harder to change.

Going to close this thread; BuddyPress doesn’t have any ads in it, so it’s either another plugin, your theme, or — most likely — malware on your computer.

Yep, that’s totally what I meant, but what I actually meant to say, was about the “Activate” page mapping on the same screen. Is that set? Sorry for confusion 🙂

In the BP settings in the wp-admin area, do you have a page mapped to the “Registration” component?
