@vegasparty607 erm yes and that link is to an American educational resource! try looking up a general one and you will find that there are exceptions and differences to the use or not of a comma and ‘and’ 🙂

@DJPaul any idea of how to pass the user id too? I been trying but fail so far…
tried &user_id=' . bp_displayed_user_id() global $bp; bp_is_member()….. nothing seems to work =(

@DJPaul ,
I have WP 3.1.3 installed on my VPS acct, Buddypress 1.2.8 , I tried to install bbpress onto it, it says successfully, however, clicking onto the forum link gave me a error 404 … Anything that I have not done or done wrong?

OK @djpaul, the answer is “NO”. The actual bbPress plugin has not this functionnality, but it exist a bbPress plugin who can do this: “support forums”.

The new question is now: is bbPress plugable when integrated into a BP multisite install ?

@DJPaul im only running one buddypress site on the server, not sure where to look to see if its multi site though. i wouldnt think so. thanks!

Apparently there are some known problems with BuddyPress and “almost pretty” permalinks like index.php/whatevers. @djpaul was looking into it last year, and IIRC his quick ‘hack’ was to pull index.php from the permalinks and use .htaccess to work around it. Though I don’t know what your .htaccess would look like for that 🙁
