The SEND INVITES link is missing from the front end.

Learn to write plugins. It’s tough but will future proof your modifications.

Thanks techguy! I didn’t realize that BP Links could do that!

Any follow-up on this? Can anyone suggest a decent overall rating plugin?

No problems here. PollDaddy works fine with BuddyPress just as it does with regular WordPress blogs based on my own experience.

Install it through the plugin manager, activate and add short-code to widget/post.

What Modemlooper said. It works just as it would with a regular WordPress blog without interacting with BuddyPress in terms of the poll results and functionality.

Here’s the details for the free PollDaddy account:

Free
$0 forever
100 Survey Responses per Month
10 Questions per Survey
Polldaddy Link in Content
Basic Poll & Survey Reports
1 User Accounts

A BuddyPress specific poll plugin would be just dandy though.

I’m currently looking for something to handle polls myself. For PollDaddy I simply installed it as a regular plugin, pasted the short-code into a sidebar widget and it works as expected. What it does isn’t changed by BuddPress in any way from what I can tell.

As for Intense Debate, it wouldn’t let me register with my WordPress account so not sure
