In reply to: HELP!! Member posts on front page
There are several plugins (one quick post) that allow users to post from their buddypress profile.
In reply to: Error in messaging systemok, now I am starting to think it’s a conflicting plugin.
Deactivate All Plugins, but Buddypress temporarily. See if it fixes it.
In reply to: Error in messaging systemHeaders Already Sent out errors are almost always caused by blank spaces in the PHP file, check that you don’t have ANY extra spaces in the files first ?php by mistakenly pressing enter. You can compare so see if you have by downloading buddypress and looking at the original file
Or, an easier way, is to just copy the original file from buddypress. (manually download it on the site)
Copy the bp-messages.php and ajax.php and paste them into your directories
In reply to: Error in messaging systemSorry for not noticing your post.
1. Are you using custom or default theme?
2. Did you recently add any plugins relating to buddypress?
3. Did you recently make any changes to the core or any other important files? (functions.php)
4. What version of buddypress are u using? In reply to: HELP!! Member posts on front pageSo you want to let all your members have the permission of creating new blog posts?
If you want members to be able to create blog posts, but need your approval, set their account permission to “contributor”
In reply to: Alignment issue with BuddyPressSorry, but can you give more specific details of what is wrong? Because by looking at your site nothing looks really wrong..
And the file listed is index.php of what directory? (Groups, Forums)
without wordpress there would be no buddypress. Buddypress only works on wordpress my dear

@ddgdaily, download the theme again from the original website.
Get the Archive.php or the original file where it is causing you problems.
Copy and Paste the original code into your current file so everything is back to normal
In reply to: PLEASE HELP!!! no group creation option in groupsTekuan, something is either disabled, or files are missing in your directories, because as I am logged in, on your site, typing in the /groups/create/step/group-details/ redirects to your homepage, which means that it’s not even there or disabled, so your site has no-where to go but the homepage.
Previously saying that you have no “index.php” file on your groups??? Is this correct?
@nuprn1, the filters listed, does not seem to work on custom theme…. or at-least from what I am using. I added the filters you listed in your second post to line 113, no success. I need this to work here, because I have a group on my site that is meant for a pastebin, and the code tags make it a absolute mess, pigpen!!!
P.S…. a little help on the MarkItUp would be awesome too!
Thanks!
SVCIn reply to: PLEASE HELP!!! no group creation option in groupsAnd, just in case, post your group’s “index.php” file over at http://pastebin.com so I can look at it
In reply to: PLEASE HELP!!! no group creation option in groupsI tried to register on your site to see what was going on, but I didn’t receive an activation email.
Can you go an activate me in Admin panel?
(it requires a plugin, “bp pending activations)
Put your theme’s “register.php” over at http://pastebin.com then post link here. I’ll take a look at it.
The <div content Wrapper could be missing
In reply to: PLEASE HELP!!! no group creation option in groupsDouble check you have everything enabled in the admin section, “components setup”
In reply to: Login page not foundgoing to http://www.gaminglegacyclan.com/wp-login.php gives the same “not found” error.
In reply to: Login page not found1. This is not a buddypress issue.
Here are several support topics for you to choose from: They may help you.
In reply to: Top Navigation Bar Disappeareddo you have the template pack installed?
In reply to: PLEASE HELP!!! no group creation option in groupsnot sure what you are talking about, “and only if I type in “create a group“
It either did, or didn’t appear?
In reply to: How to add MarkItUp! Is there an easy way?I haven’t achieved this yet, but I might add it sometime in the future…
In reply to: PLEASE HELP!!! no group creation option in groupsSo, the button appeared?
Or it didn’t?
1st. This issue is not being caused by buddypress.
There is something wrong with the <div you added, did you close the <div?
did you recently change anything to the site layout, or install any plugins?
In reply to: PLEASE HELP!!! no group creation option in groupsI said *she* ma’am!
In reply to: Removal of filters in activity streamsyour quite welcome

I recall you saying, “move it” if you move this anywhere else I am afraid that it won’t do anything for you, being the functions are specific for the user activity stream… but I could go both ways… good luck!
In reply to: Custom activity update prompt? If you can’t access the site’s files, than there is nothing really you can do.
You need to edit a php file in your theme to do this.
In reply to: Removal of filters in activity streamsGo into your theme folder /wp-content/themes/yourtheme
Go to the Members Folder –> Single —> Activity.php and delete everything listed below:
