Just had a quick look and chrome renders both input boxes at width 170px where as FF has a width of 147px, you could force this in your theme override?

I think it was designed to be used in a sidebar and it might look a bit strange on a mobile device without further css.
Hey, BuddyPress doesn’t have events built-in so I’m guessing you are using an addon to add this feature? You’d probably need to ask on their support how to do this, most event addons I’ve used easily allow changing of permissions.

When logged in and I go to ozzyspals.com/members/max007/ I see the following https://i.imgur.com/EQFDxXG.png which is what would be expected.
Have you tried another browser, can you see anything being blocked when you use the browser developer tools, network (F12)
