Thanks @jeffsayre that’s some serious reading…
With ‘Action Event Firing Order’ turned on, I don’t see data_to_add being fired.
With ‘Action Event Firing’ turned on, I do get ‘Firing Sequence 71: bp_activity_posted_update –> data_to_add –> Time fired: 1273766497.1222’ after posting an update.

I’m still completely lost though…

      Not to burst your bubble, but the WordCamp Chicago release date will be for the beta version–in other words, not for production use. The ready-for-prime time version will be released after BP 1.3 ships.

@jeffsayre – not yet. I made a break in development of that plugin cause I didn’t find the way I can intrude in after post-saving process (I just need 1 DB query to be made right after the post is published of deleted). Insted I released Avatar Bubble for BuddyPress 🙂 It was announced on wpmu.org…

@jeffsayre Is the next beta of your privacy plugin really going to be released for BP 1.3? I’m developing several education sites on Buddypress and am anxiously awaiting the release of your plugin. It seems WP 3.0 is due this month – but is only 75% done…

  I’m not sure if WP 3.0 will be released in May or not. It is still possible. Either way, I do not think BP 1.3 will be released when WP 3.0 is released as BP already works with WP and WPMU. I don’t think Andy is in any hurry. Besides, there should be a BP 1.2.4 released in the coming week or so.

    The information that can be learned from the action and filter firing sequence is amazing. I considered formatting the output in a fancier way, but then remembered that this is for developers and there was no need to extra fluff as long as the info was sufficiently easy to understand.

Okay I did the internal install of bbpress and it said successfully installed. I have a group and in the group admin the enable forums button is selected. When I click on forum I still have a blank page.

Any advice?
