In your case I think it’s impossible.

As I know, you can only make multiple wordpress installation with single login only if you are using a single database. Therefore, if you want there is BuddyPress with a single user credential on each WordPress installation, then it’s only possible if you are also using a single database.

@Bowromir – On the last activate this plugin I got some error. I tried to activate it on the WordPress 3.2-beta1 (multisite) and BP 1.2.8.

But I’m not sure that there is hosting that does not support WordPress multisite. Even free hosting I have ever tried allow WordPress multisite. But it can not use subdomains, because it does not provide wildcard subdomains features.

It seems only happen on BuddyPress 1.2.6. Because after I upgrade to 1.2.6, the custom profile on my site disappeared.

Is this a bug?
