I figured out the activity menu issue, but is there really no way to move this check box to the bottom of the first column? It looks that way on mobile.

Also, on my registration form, there is a check box to sign up for our newsletter, but the text is in a very thin column so it isn’t legible. There are three letters per line. Do you know how/where I would fix this?

Hi, I’m running WordPress 6.2.1 running Astra theme, Buddypress 11.2.0.

In Appearance > Menu I selected “Buddypress Member” and under the “logged in” tab I added “Activity” to my menu. When I click on it on the site while logged in, it takes me to my personal member page, not the global activity page. I would like it to go to the global activity…[Read more]

Thank you. I tried that plugin and it worked except for my Members and Group page links in the menu still showed as well as the members avatars on the sidebar on pages. OK, I switched the slug of my forum to “forums” and it seems to have fixed the issue. Not sure if maybe It was originally plural and I switched it to “forum” and that messed things up. Anyway, it’s resolved by switching it to the plural form.

It works for Events and Groups, but not for the Forum page for some reason. It’s also strange that for that page only, setting Astra theme’s page settings to “no sidebar” doesn’t work. I wonder if it’s something with bbPress?

How can I make my Events, Groups, and Forum pages private to non-logged in users like the other Buddypress pages? I tried 8 plugins in the last four hours and none of them are working for me. Please help!

“BP Registration Options” plugin makes Buddypress elements private, but it should redirect users to the registration page, not the home page so users know they have to login. Is that a bad plugin? Are there any other plugins that work?

When a logged out user tries to access the community pages = Activity, Members, Groups, or Forum, it redirects them to the home page. I want it to direct them to the Register page so they know there is a community they can register for.

Because adding them as xprofile fields doesn’t add them to the TML registration page that I need to use. Have you looked at the TML instructions? I followed them exactly and they don’t use xprofile fields so it’s glitchy.
