Just as an update, its not working in IE anymore so I tried deactivating all the plugins, uninstalling Buddypress, rebooting the server and reinstalling buddypress with no plug-ins active and I still had the same issue with the links not loading. I know it’s not the theme because my theme works fine on my test […]

Hi guys, thanks for the help. The my sql was set to 150, they raised it to 200 but it didn’t work. I spoke with my hosting company and they don’t think its a php memory problem either. My error log had a lot of errors that end on the 12th for tdo mini forms […]

@hnla, Understood, but I did look through the forums already and had no luck, I also posted about this issue a few weeks ago and thought it got resolved but it didn’t so instead of re-posting the same problem over I replied in my original post to try not to make any duplicate postings. As for […]

@mercime. I’m having that problem again. I’m using Linux server, Buddypress 1.2.6, WordPress MU 3.01, Apache version 2..2.9 and PHP version 5.2.6. My sql 5.0.51a-community. I’m using a VPS. My traffic isn’t that high at this time so it shouldn’t be an issue with traffic spikes. I’ve increased the memory limit in the wp-config.php file by […]

Mark started the forum topic BP Links Navbar directing to wrong domain when in subdomains in the group BuddyPress Links: 13 years, 11 months ago
@MrMaz Hi I’m using Buddypress 1.2.6 with WordPress 3.03. I noticed that when using your plugin in a subdomain and I click on the plugin link in the navbar to go to the appropriate page that it points to http://www.subdomain.site/links instead of http://www.site/links like it does on the home domain. This was also problem with BP […]

FYI I wrote to Brajesh in the BP Gallery Forums and here’s what he said and it did work for the galleries plugin.
Hi Mark,
Sorry I missed your earlier post.
This is a small issue using site_url instead of bp_getroot_domain(), I have fixed it in the trunk. An update will come by 11 AM PST today. For now, if you want, please open…[Read more]

@sbrajesh Hi Brajesh, As you probably read below I’m having a problem with BP Gallery with my subdomains. When I click on the gallery link while in the subdomain it points to http://www.subdomain.site/gallery instead of http://www.site/gallery like it does on the home domain so I end up with an page not found error. This is also happens with BP…[Read more]

I’m using Buddypress 1.2.6 with WordPress 3.01. I noticed that when you are using a plugin such as Bp gallery and you are navigating through a subdomain and click on the plugin link to go to the gallery it points to http://www.subdomain.site/gallery instead of http://www.site/gallery like it does on the home domain. @pcwriter Hey, just wanted to see if you made any new progress with the links and gallery plugins not working on sub-domains via the nav bar? The more I think about it, it doesn’t seem to be an issue with your plugin, it seems to be more of a issue with buddypress using sub-domains. If I wasn’t using your plugin I would still have the same issue…[Read more]

Unfortunately no, I haven’t gotten any closer to finding a solution. I’m still a very wet-behind-the-ears n00b when it comes to debugging code or hunting down glitches!
I am however sure it has to do with how `do_action( ‘bp_nav_items’ )` fetches its main site info. I think someone much more knowledgeable than I could shed some light on this.

@janis It seems to be the avatar of the blog so if you have multiple blogs you can have different avatars for each blog. I’ve been going nuts trying to figure out how to upload a new avatar for each blog so it doesn’t look generic but I haven’t figured it out yet. If the monitors […]

I’m having an issue when I click on links in Members, groups or Member Blog pages. (the.item-list li links and page numbers links according to the css.) For example with the members page, if I click on “my friends” or “following” nothing loads up. It just stays blank, but if I refresh the page it […]
