I have published blank Register and Activate page on my site but I keep getting the error message?
@beginner3 If you have enabled registration again, then go wp-admin menu Settings > BuddyPress and click on the “Pages” tab, and in the Registration and Activate section, choose the blank pages you created and associate each with respective functions per

@alid88 Just go to Page > Add New, name the page e.g. Register or Join etc., then publish. Do the same for the Activate page.> when i click view it takes me to my home page.
That’s default behavior when you go to the Register page while you’re still logged in. Log out first. -

> I meant how do I disable registration?
Go back to where you enabled it in Settings > General for single site or in Network Admin > Settings if you’re on multisite. -
@mercime replied to the topic registeration page on multisite in the forum Installing BuddyPress 8 years, 11 months ago
@keram– You need to enable registration in your Network Admin > Settings, creaate the pages, then associate those pages with BP https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/register-and-activation-pages/

@beginner3 I’ve updated the screenshot in the link you posted. There’s only one “Save Settings” button on that page now. Sorry for your confusion.

That happens when you enabled registration in your site but haven’t published blank Register or Activate pages in your site. -

I remember someone reporting a similar issue last year or so. They used a theme which was not updated with the current BP version at that time. What have you done so far to troubleshoot the issue?
WP/BP versions? Theme used? If you change to the Twenty Fifteen theme, does the issue remain or is it resolved? Have you tried deactivating plugins…[Read more]

@functionmunchkin there is no shortcode for the registration form. Deactivate all plugins except BuddyPress and change to the Twenty Fifteen/Fourteen theme to check if you have theme/plugin conflict. As to membership option, visitors who register and activate their account become regular members of the site, so it would be more helpful if you are…[Read more]

There is no shortcode. If you enabled registration after you set up BuddyPress, then follow instructions at https://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/register-and-activation-pages/
After you do so, you’d need to log out first in order to “see” the…[Read more] -

For example, I changed the background of the home page to black, the group page also went black.
@jessicana That is the default behavior as BP adds rudimentary styles to the components in BP pages.
BP injects BP classes in the<body>
