You can add inline style like
<p style="color: #ccc;">or better yet, add a class<p class="crfield">then add p.crfield { color: #ccc} to your theme’s style.css file -

It can be done, but it’s not available out of the box. You’d either have to code it yourself or hire a developer to do so.

BP 1.7 trunk is not actively supported in this forum at this time. Having said that, Testbp.org is running WordPress 3.6-bleeding, BuddyPress 1.7-bleeding, and bbPress 2.3-bleeding
