1) Go to menu Settings > Discussion > Default article settings == Allow people to post comments on new articles and/or
2) Go to Post > Edit > specific post and check that comments are not disabled.

It might be your custom theme that’s not compatible or updated for BP 1.2.9. Change to bp-default theme.

@suchaqd @suchaqd @suchaqd It’s looking more like they’re likely to keep the main stylesheet enqueued along with the other stylesheets. I can imagine how many people using BP child themes will be charging into our forums with why their sites are looking like bp-default theme 🙂

As for BuddyPress, delete spammers and spams with links leading to viagra, etc. Re SEO plugins and sitemaps, these are supposed to help with Google ranking not the other way around. Site URL?
