WP/BP versions? Are you using the bp-default theme, custom BP theme or WP theme with BP Template Pack? Have you deactivated all plugins except BP and changed to bp-default theme to eliminate possible plugin/theme conflicts?

The bar you see at the top of the screen at e.g. http://testbp.org/ and this site is the BuddyPress Admin Bar. Did you disable it from logged out users in dashboard > BuddyPress menu ?

What’s on lines 3 and 4 of your wp-config.php file? If you’re on webhosting server, have you contacted tech support?

Glad you resolved that on your on. Have added “or” before “before the Add Friend, Mention this user buttons ” to prevent mistakes/confusion.

Are you using a custom theme? Because there should be a Groups directory link in bp-default theme. Plus, there is a Groups link in your BP admin bar unless you’ve disabled it.

You would need to create a plugin for that. There’s none that does what you want at the moment.
