@neocsatornaja I see the picture of a full-width profile page but I don’t quite get what you’re asking. What “first” was removed – first sidebar, first header (per tag below)?

WP/BP versions? Theme used? Plugins activated? Site URL?

@willandmae first time I’ve heard about BP Group Extras causing this kind of issue. Have you tried deactivating all plugins except BuddyPress, bbPress and BP Group Extras to confirm that BP Groups Extras is causing the issues? If it is, please post at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/buddypress-groups-extras to report it to the plugin author.

@p91 https://wordpress.org/plugins/bp-album/ has not been updated since late last year so and I believe it was compatible with the bp default theme. You’d need to find another album/gallery plugin for your installation.

@chrisss1 How exactly did you enable pretty permalinks in your Windows server? Not going to work with BP if you just append index.php to the URL. See https://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks#Permalinks_without_mod_rewrite

@sooskriszta BP does not add any rule to your htaccess file. Pretty permalinks must be enabled, that’s it.

@rigormortis_uk have you checked what’s in your .htaccess file recently?
Have you tried backing up htaccess file, deleting it and then running Settings > Permalinks?

I’ve noticed under permalinks wordpress is complaining about access to the .htaccess file

@rigormortis_uk Did you change to a new theme or add any new plugins recently? Revert to old theme or Twenty Twelve theme and deactivate all other plugins except BuddyPress and bbPress then run Settings > Permalinks again.

@gcbz BuddyPress is commpatible with nearly all WP themes. Other WP themes have their own proprietary templating system (instead of WP’s loop with the_title and the_content in the theme’s page.php file) which trips BP’s theme compatibility process.

When I then activate my theme all works but the bbpress forum root – this again resolves as my blog archive, which is the same issue as reported in the thread link I posted earlier.
