@danstriker I see you’d found out by now that applying 50px width for .entry-content img is not the way to go. Recommend that you add the following in your stylesheet for some of the avatars in the bbPress forums

@aidnotes you’d need to provide more information about your installation. WP/BP version? What BuddyPress components/features are activated in Settings > BuddyPress > Components? Theme used? Plugins installed?

@hitkid the first post you linked is way too old – 3 years ago, we were using the BuddyPress internal forums. BP 1.7 onwards, bbPress plugin is the way to go and if you activate the bbPress plugin, you should find the following bbPress widgets https://codex.bbpress.org/widgets/ under Appearance > Widgets

@wpobs upgrade to BuddyPress 1.8.1, clear cache and check if issue is resolved.

@iconimagery pretty sure it’s not BP. Change to Twenty Twelve theme and deactivate all plugins except BuddyPress in your test platform.

@iconimagery Not a BP issue at all. WordPress 3.6 has jQuery version 1.10.2
A WP theme or plugin should use jQuery version in WP core.

As for BP themes, I roll out my own BP Default Child themes. Nearly all WordPress themes are compatible with BuddyPress. Issues arise in some premium themes which have proprietary templating systems which lock in the user to the theme at times. Some of those could be resolved…[Read more]

@tom-peak there’s no longer any Forums Component circa BP 1.7. You need to install the bbPress forums plugin https://codex.buddypress.org/user/setting-up-a-new-installation/installing-group-and-sitewide-forums/

the options for the user privacy setting totally DISAPPEARED! It also doesn’t show on the Update posting boxes.

Not quite sure what you mean for the first one? Privacy setting for xProfile fields?
And what doesn’t show on the update posting boxes (status updates right?)?
