@jcmosquera what footer do you mean? I see the same copyright and links in members and groups. Or have you resolved the issue already?

i running wordpress 3.4.2 with buddypress 1.7.1.

@hiboy Please clarify, do you have a typo above? Makes a difference.
WP 3.4.2 is compatible with BP 1.6.1
BP 1.7.1 is compatible with WP 3.5.1

What exactly do you want to change in how bbPress plugin generates the url of your forums, i.e., from what to what? Some changes are not that hard to do and some changes might require you to hire a developer.

The create group link is in line 21 of this file https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/browser/tags/1.7.2/bp-themes/bp-default/groups/index.php – you might have deleted that in your child theme’s /group/index.php

@fredang85 all BP templates are rendered via your theme’s page.php file. So if the BP Members and other pages show up in your site, then so should the registration form. I have tried different themes, and they also duplicate the content, including 2012

@floorplanonline We’ve tested BuddyPress extensively with Twenty Twelve and there’s no duplicate content. Deactivate plugins except BP batch by batch to identify which plugin is causing the issue.

I use only one theme and one plugin (bp and complete theme) . no plugin conflicts !

@caspergrimaldi That’s the default layout of Frisco theme for Member and Group pages. You can use negative margin for the member sidebar in your custom.css file

@naturalworldstm geez. I would experiment and save the original content-page.php file as content-page-orig.php and then create own content-page.php file containing straightforward html with WP loop and template tags.

@lannagung not sure what’s going on but I’ve seen some problems reported with the BuddyStream plugin unfortunately. I would backup database first, go into wp_options table, go into active_plugins and check that BuddyStream is no longer listed there and delete it if still there.…[Read more]
