So you created a child theme of Thematic and then you installed & activated BP Template Pack plugin and have gone through Appearance > BP Compatibility?
Open up child theme’s header.php file, copy all code, paste in pastebin.com, click submit and post the generated URI here. Do the same for your theme’s footer.php, sidebar.php, index.php and page.php files. If you do not have such file/s in your child theme, copy the same file from parent theme Thematic.
In reply to: Create an additional pages(directories)Hi Stranger. First, congratulations on “integration BP with Minecraft skin system”

Check out BP Skeleton Component plugin as guide – “This plugin is not designed for functional use, it is designed as an educational starting point” https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/buddypress-skeleton-component/
Download permalink.php file from server wp-content/themes/themeveriteuniverselle/members/single/activity/permalink.php to your computer and make the following change:
Open up permalink.php and at the bottom of the file, add “ immediately before “ so bottom of file would liook something like this:
``
Save file.
Upload permalink.php back to server wp-content/themes/themeveriteuniverselle/members/single/activity/
You need to go through Step 3 of the BP Compatibility process to superimpose your theme’s HTML structure onto the BP template files . I helped someone with the graphene theme a while back. Check if this is still applicable with the current Graphene version https://buddypress.org/community/groups/installing-buddypress/forum/topic/where-are-my-sub-menus/
In reply to: Rectangular profile avatarBuddyPress avatars have always been square since BP alpha version if I remember well

I was going to refer you to @sbrajesh but I see you’ve already posted there http://buddydev.com/buddypress/changing-default-avatar-size-croppedused-by-buddypress/In reply to: Putting sitewide activity feed inside a shortcode.You might want to check out how @sbrajesh made a Siteiwide Activity Widget as a guide to making it a shortcode http://buddydev.com/plugins/buddypress-sitewide-activity-widget/
In reply to: Rectangular profile avatar@janismo please clarify what you mean about

https://codex.buddypress.org/theme-development/wordpress-to-buddypress-theme/@fswd wp-config.php along with bb-config.php (group forums installed) should be at the root of where you installed WP/BP.
e.g. Installed WP/BP

– at http://buddypress.yoursite.com then at http://subdomain.yoursite.com/wp-config.php
– at http://www.yoursite.com/buddypress/ then at http://www.yoursite.com/buddypress/wp-config.phpB. Copy sidebar.php and Save As sidebar-buddypress.php
Open up sidebar-buddypress.php and at the top, above all code contained within, add this
`
`Then at the bottom, below all other code, add this:
`jQuery(document).ready( function() {
if ( jQuery(‘div#blog-details’).length && !jQuery(‘div#blog-details’).hasClass(‘show’) )
jQuery(‘div#blog-details’).toggle();
jQuery( ‘input#signup_with_blog’ ).click( function() {
jQuery(‘div#blog-details’).fadeOut().toggle();
});
});`
[ @erica34 – updated code above to add script required]Save file.
C. Upload header-buddypress.php and sidebar-buddypress.php to your theme folder in server wp-content/themes/evolution/ at the same directory where your regular header.php and sidebar.php are in
Final note: Copy over the stylesheet modifications to contain some BP elements to your theme’s stylesheet https://codex.buddypress.org/theme-development/theme-dev-bp-template-pack-walkthrough-twenty-ten-bp-1-5/3/ then adjust as needed.
To make your theme compatible with BuddyPress, you only need to create two new files, header-buddypress.php and sidebar-buddypress.php
If you’ve revised any of the BP template files transferred to your evolution theme folder during the BP Compatibility process, please delete the 6 BP folders transferred to your evolution theme folder in server – activity, blogs, forums, members, groups, register – then re-run Appearance > BP Compatibility again to make sure that you have clean template files.

In reply to: Error troubleshooting [HELP]The plugin https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/bp-registration-options/ has not been updated for BP 1.5. There might be someone who’d reply to your post with a solution, but then again you might get no replies. I suggest contacting plugin developer to request for/pay for updated version.
No there is no limit. You can only be limited by your server and skillset.
@erica34 to complete the instruction today please post loop.php and loop-page.php in pastebin.com like you did with the other pages
In reply to: [Resolved] Ray of Light WordPress Theme issuesThe difference is that the pasted source content of your page.php you posted above in http://pastebin.com/BPGP9w3u where I based the HTML structure didn’t contain “ which was in source content of your index.php post above inhttp://pastebin.com/11HsjUrw
You would need to add that missing line right under get_header in 16 files of BP Templates like so …
``
In reply to: Comments on activity not working@askwpcoach looks like you’re using a custom theme which might need to be updated. Change to bp-default theme and check if issue is resolved.
@mepierce53 could entirely be a different issue. Could be the image plugin or a custom theme, etc.
In reply to: [resolved] Register Page Loads BlankDid you enable registration in wp-admin menu Settings > General ?
In reply to: User blog categoriesSingle WP install, sure. Just add the categories from backend and users can only choose from the available categories.
If you’re talking about categorizing a multisite blog, you could use something like this https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/blog-topics/
Or if you’re looking to create categories in main site which are automatically added to new subsites of multisite install http://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/12201/wordpress-multisite-global-categories
