@balanz It’s sad to learn that there’s no obvious support area for the envato paid theme. I’ve never bought anything from envato, so my best guess will be to search for “themeforest cinamatix” then on that theme’s page, you’ll find the “Comments” link on the right hand column of the theme page.
I hope that works out for you. Good luck.@robproce BuddyPress is compatible with the bbPress plugin for Sitewide and/or Group forums
@gujingc thanks for posting back what your solution was ????
>>does BuddyPress or 3rd parties design additional plugins as such that can be successfully attached to this theme
Hi @balanz,
The best place to ask is at the premium theme’s forums as we do not have access to the paid theme. Based on what you need, looks more like you need to code a custom plugin that is compatible with both BuddyPress and your premium theme, or hire a developer to do so.>>I had one registration page before but since I did not need it anymore I deleted it. How do you stop getting this repair warning. perhaps associating the “register” component with a homepage?
If you don’t allow registration, then you should go to
Settings > Generaland uncheck the “Anyone can register” beside theMembershipheading on that page.>> I have the menus “Activate and” register “which point to my home page .. ?? how it is done?
@alama32 That’s the default behavior for the register page when you’re logged in. You can see your register page even when you’re logged in by opening a private window. So if you’re using Chrome, open up “New incognito window”; or on Firefox, open up “New Private Window”; or Edge, open up “New InPrivate Window”, etc.>>Yes, I can choose the “Register & Activate pages” that have been created by buddypress, but if I want to view those pages then I will come to both of them on the Homepage …

@jamesorozco could you be more specific or clarify as to what the “path” you are referring to is? I use Windows 10 and I’ve found no such problem.
>> isn’t there any forum or section here or website on the internet or anything anywhere with folks that specialize in THIS only
Hi @bwnvideo You can do that at the official WordPress jobs board at https://jobs.wordpress.net/post-a-job/
@jvalenzh Based on the threads I’ve seen so far in their comments area, I did think they haven’t found any resolution to Userpro’s plugin conflict with BuddyPress.
At this point, I would suggest hiring a developer to help you integrate Userpro as a “component” of BuddyPress and deactivate BP’s own xProfile fields. Then that new Userpro component can be made to have its own profile tab within the BP ecosystem and update user meta and other related information in database. But it won’t be easy nor cheap. Or much better, hire a developer to create a BuddyPress add-on plugin which adds the features that you like in Userpro for your BP site.
@a3132 There are browser developer tools to help you fix your style issues or refine the design of the page or a specific element of your page like the alignment of radio buttons.

or give a link to your registration page so that we can help you with this.@jvalenzh It’s been some time but it seems Userpro doesn’t work well with all BuddyPress components, specifically with BP Extended Profile (xProfile) fields.
I recommend that you seek help at the paid plugin’s comments page re integration with BuddyPress as they provide support for Userpro.
Hi @techsector7,
Thanks for your interest in submitting the Serbian (Latin) translation of BuddyPress! You’re most welcome to do so. Looking at https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/buddypress/ the Serbian translation of BP is at 15% for the stable version and 6% for the development version.
Become a Translation Editor and select BuddyPress. Choose your preferred language e.g. German. Then select ‘Stable (latest release)’ or ‘Development (trunk)’. The translation needs to be at least 90% complete to be approved for the Stable/Dev languages.
@dasigrist How about via Twitter https://twitter.com/buddybosswp
@shakarum it would help us to help you if we knew more about your installation
https://buddypress.org/support/topic/when-asking-for-support-2/@martijn1972 “Uploading videos” via third-party plugin? Have you tried posting at the plugin’s forums?
@martijn1972 Hi, I’ve not encountered that issue. Could be a theme issue. Have you tried changing to the Twenty Seventeen/Sixteen default theme? It would also help others help you if you provide more information about your installation. Like, do you have a BP-compatible plugin that’s not been updated for a while?
> I also need to know what to replace it with.
@katmacau Sorry that you also have errors showing up like catonezillion. What is “it” that you want to replace exactly? Is your installation on PHP7, https, and updated to the latest versions of BP/WP as well?Have you tried switching over to the Twenty Seventeen/Sixteen theme and see if the errors are showing up? If not, then it could in all probability be a problem with a third-party theme you installed.
@deimz Thank you for submitting the documentation which were attached in this codex page. As @hnla mentioned, your gravatar was included in the BP Codex props/gallery for 2017 at https://bpdevel.wordpress.com/2018/01/09/bp-codex-summary-for-2017/
Cheers.@needynoipe Unfortunately, we don’t have the source code of that premium theme to help you out. The best place to ask is at the theme owner’s support forums.
@britur1345 Since you were able to install bbPress, could be a server time-out or something else. First, go to your wp-admin dashboard and click on “Plugins” on the left panel. If BuddyPress is in the list of installed plugins, click Delete. Then try installing BuddyPress again using Plugins > Add New. If that fails, you can try to install BuddyPress manually via FTP.
@ademelo You mean BuddyPress was bundled as a premium package? As to the Keymaster role, that is controlled by the bbPress plugin (which might have been
bundledas well).Normally to remove a person as Keymaster (with bbPress), you would go to wp-admin (backend) and click on the Users link on the left panel. Check the box beside the name of the user you would like to demote and then at the top of the table, on the second select box, change from Keymaster to Subscriber or whatever role you want. Same goes for the person you would like to promote, check the name of user in the table, then change to Keymaster in the second select box. By the way, you can have more than one Keymaster on bbPress forums.
@mah184 I do not know how the “wordpress” stuff was supposed to be all gone” as BuddyPress is a plugin for WordPress. If by “Business Plan” you mean WordPress.com’s Business Plan, then please avail of the free support aka ‘real-time concierge support’ provided along with your plan. Aside from which, WordPress.com hosting is an entirely different scenario from a self-hosted solution which we usually help out in these forums, so the best support you’ll get is from WordPress.com. Good luck.
If you’re referring to https://buddydev.com/plugins/bp-simple-front-end-post/
– have you updated to the latest version that’s compatible with BP 2.9/1?
– have you tried asking at plugin developer’s forums? https://buddydev.com/support/forums/
