@wpmirwin yeah that could be the difference, I’m using the latest Buddypress.
I want to mention, that I no longer needed this code once I set my time in wordpress using UTC instead of the city. It fixed the issue right up.
So I went to wp-admin -> settings -> general ->Timezone
and used UTC time instead of the city.

I have searched a lot, I googled and I tried searching here, and I can’t figure anything out.
ahhh information overload….lol. Can you break that down slightly more me I’m kinda new to this whole thing. Possibly and example of the code.
is there anyway to hide the User join notices from the activity stream?
