Could somebody please able to help me on this?
Hi All. I also faced the same problem. It drove me crazy for a while though. I analysed the problem as a layman and am not a techie guy basically.
I went through all the recently activated plugins to find the culprit which disappeared Reply TextBox. I came across disabling the plugin “Digg Digg” which is a social bookmarking plugin. Although it’s a great plugin to have, my current theme had a face-off with it. So I was forced to de-activate this plugin.
Well, the problem might be your theme or any recently activated plugin. Monitor your website consistently to find the error, and take appropriate actions right away to find the culprits and ditch them off.
The problem here was, something prevented Ajax controls to load which stopped loading/made TextBox disappear in a miracle. In my case, “Digg Digg” plugin loads its content with Ajax. So I guessed it must be the one which troubled me. Once I removed it, things rolled back to normal and settled! Thanks a lot for all of you for taking your precious time here! I sincerely appreciate your suggestions.
@Andrea_r could you please help me on your point? How to put a noindex on my buddypress registration link? By doing so, will it affect SEO of my website?
@Pisanojm I’m also looking for an access-role other Administrators who can moderate the website by marking as spam, deleting irrelevant users etc. If any wordpress consultant guides us, would be grateful..!!Thanks for your advise. I am not a techie guy but I could able to realize what you have said!
I understand that the paypal donate button should be visible in a group page. What my requirements are, it should be amended only by group admins such that they can update their paypal email ids to get donations. In this buddypress.org website, the groups have a link called Donate which is what I am searching for. I knew it’s not an easy or too difficult for any techie to achieve this functionality. I am expecting a built-in plugin. If not, is there any one who could help me out here?
Thanks in advance. All I want to know the answer for the million dollar question..!!
HOW TO CLEAN OUR WORDPRESS MULTISITE AND BUDDYPRESS WEBSITES AGAINST SPAMS??!!
Thanks a lot for your reply. What I would like to see is, I want my members to post their articles in their own blogs! No issues! But, it should go to the approval stage first. Admins (In this case, I am the admin for my website) should be able to approve each and every blog posts to go for LIVE. Can I achieve this stuff using any plugin? I heard there are some plugins that can suit my wish list. If you heard of this purpose, please post the plugin name here. In the meantime, I am still searching for the one!!
Thanks a lot for your reply. I will look into the link which you have provided.
@b1gft: How to prevent members to post their articles in their blogs without admin’s approval? I want like, admin should read the articles before approving it to go for LIVE. Is their any plugin to do this task?
Hi Chouf1, thanks for the reply. I just had a look into that plugin. It looks like a membership plugin. Do you think it will satisfy what I wanted? Pls guide me. Thanks in advance.
*Oops, sorry about the spelling mistake. It should be “feature” and not “fature”!
