I’ve tried Media plugins like Mediapress and rtMedia to simply allow members to upload a single video for their profile, but they don’t quite handle it the way I need it to for various reasons.

can someone PLEASE help me with a simpler plugin OR custom code in a BP template to allow members to upload one video for their profile?

When a new user clicks his activation email and is brought to the Activate page, which says, “Your account is now active!” — if he then goes to his Profile Page the same message is displayed only that one time.

for some reason my User Registration is automatically activating new users. I’m unable to find the settings to disable this and have the Activation Email sent.

can someone kindly show me how to enable this feature?

how can I get BP to redirect a new registrant to his new profile directly, please?

I installed BP well after having installed WP. for some reason when trying to display my users in the members directory, only 8 are appearing (of 27 or so). i then added them all to a Group, and get the same results. i’ve searched high and low for the differences in these two groups of users and can find nothing.

when i added Xprofile Custom Fields Type, dropdowns for Custom Post Types and Custom Taxonomies are made available. Can anyone show me how I might call the list of editable roles to be included in these dropdown options?
