Have you read this codex page?
Note the section at the bottom: ‘Preserve the Order’Or try using the filter:
$sql = apply_filters_ref_array( 'bp_user_query_uid_clauses', array( $sql, &$this ) );Try changing the priority from the default of 10.
For example:
add_action ( 'bp_pre_user_query', 'remove_orderby', 99 );
or
add_action ( 'bp_pre_user_query', 'remove_orderby', 2 );In reply to: Fatal errorDo you have the Activity component selected in

Does the issue remain if you use the standard profile-loop.php?
Where do the duplicate sets appear?
Did you try making small changes rather than add all the custom code at once?
Etc, etc.>they now see their profile fields displayed 2 times.
Rhetorical questions:
As 2 sets or double entries?
Does the issue remain if you remove the 3rd shortcode?It should be easy to narrow it down by following the clues given when you explore those questions.
If you use Dan’s approach, you want to do it by first making a template overload of the file he links to. And then writing a conditional for the calls to the user link. It will work fine.
Or you can use the filter hook for
bp_activity_user_link()and then you don’t need to touch template files. You could write a filter in theme/functions.php – something like:function imborx_profile_link( $link ) { if( $link != bp_loggedin_user_domain() ) $link = // custom url return $link; } add_filter( 'bp_get_activity_user_link', 'imborx_profile_link', 15, 1 );In reply to: admin panel forbbpress/buddypress?BuddyPress and bbPress are different plugins.
bbPress has it own spport forums.
In wp-admin, under Settings, you should links for: BuddyPress, Forums
In wp-admin, in the main nav column, you should see links for: Forums, Topics, Replies

You can disable gravatars by adding this to your theme/functions.php
add_filter('bp_core_fetch_avatar_no_grav', '__return_true');In reply to: Using BP functionality in another pluginDo you know how do_action works?
There is no need to include any WP or BP files.
Just make sure the hooks are available when you call them.
For example, in your plugin loader, use ‘bp_ready’ hook to call a function that will include any of your plugin files that rely on BP hooks.In reply to: Using BP functionality in another pluginUse a hook.
Look in the files in the bp-activity dir – especially bp-activity-functions.phpYou probably want to use one of these hooks:
do_action( 'bp_activity_posted_update', $r['content'], $r['user_id'], $activity_id ); do_action( 'bp_activity_add', $r );In reply to: Unable to create groupsIt’s probably more than a css issue.
Unless somebody else has that exact theme, it’s doubtful you’ll get much help.Since it’s a premium theme, try asking the theme author for support.
In reply to: Uninstalling – cleaning wp_options tableThanks for the clarity in your question.
Are they also Buddypress entries and can I delete them as well?
Looks okay to me. Should be fine.
But if you aren’t comfy about deleting them, leave them there.

To confirm, try switching to a WP theme like 2015.In reply to: groups_get_groupmeta in functions.phpafaik,
bp_filter_metaid_column_nameis used so that quotes in column names are not a problem.
It is called in several functions.
bp-core\bp-core-filters.php > function bp_filter_metaid_column_nameIn reply to: groups_get_groupmeta in functions.phpIt’s probably a timing issue. You’re calling it too early.
Try this hook:function tim_check() { var_dump(groups_get_groupmeta(2, 'google_group_name', false)); } add_action( 'bp_ready', 'tim_check', 11);afaik, there is no option.
Try this in your theme/functions.phpfunction larnoult_remove_bbpress_notifications() { remove_action( 'bbp_new_reply', 'bbp_buddypress_add_notification', 10, 7 ); } add_action( 'bbp_loaded', 'larnoult_remove_bbpress_notifications', 99 );You may need to tweak the priority settings.

Be sure to include your contact info.In reply to: follow categories to registerNo, afaik.
You would have to write some custom code.In reply to: BP Profile Update EmailYou can put anything you want in
$messageFor example:
$subject = ' this is the subject line for the message'; $message = 'this is the message'; wp_mail( $admin_email, $subject, $message );In reply to: Activity stream order by most favorite activitiesThe git code is 2.7 years old.
If var_dump isn’t working, make sure the function is being called – try an echo before the preg_match call.
You can also open an issue in the git plugin and see if you get a response.
