@danbp thanks for your reply. Have already checked that plugin but I can’t get it to work with latest bp install

I tried using BP Group Hierarchy Plugin and bp group announcement plugin to not allow users to join. Don’t require this 2 plugins per se on my bp site.

Any inputs plz

Following this topic

[@sharmavishal Participant 11 years, 3 months ago]

Group organizer plugin maybe?

Also use anti spam plugin for registration

Check if you got php gd installed on your server..my guess is you need it installed on your server

[@sharmavishal Participant 12 years, 5 months ago]

In wp settings allow user registration

In bp settings in pages section select correct page for specific bp component

By the way how did you get https working on your site home page?

[@sharmavishal Participant 12 years, 5 months ago]

Use Multi site WordPress install for that. If you want same use base but separate activity stream then use the following plugin

https://wordpress.org/plugins/bp-multi-network/

[@sharmavishal Participant 12 years, 5 months ago]

Couple of plugins for this…just Google it

[@sharmavishal Participant 12 years, 5 months ago]

you can search for BP members via the regular WP+BP search. Comes with BP and if you want to extend member search use the following plugin

https://wordpress.org/plugins/bp-profile-search/

[@sharmavishal Participant 12 years, 5 months ago]

Have tried this but doesn’t work for groups

[@sharmavishal Participant 12 years, 5 months ago]

Sites would show to site admins only and not with subscriber status

[@sharmavishal Participant 12 years, 5 months ago]

1. Use BP Xtra Signup plugin and add an xprofile field of birth date

2. Not sure on this but this plugin might help Buddypress Xprofile Custom Fields

@sem101 i am aware about the status of the plugin hence I asked you to donate if it worked.

That plugin is working fine on a bp site of mine for past 1 year

And if you think my replies to your queries are spam then good luck figuring out the answer to your query!!!
