In reply to: How I hide my un-wanted profile tabs
Thanks @Henry for your reply. It works for my subnavs but did not for the navs, perhaps, I don’t know how to apply it. I used:
//hide navs
function my_setup_nav(){
global $bp;
$bp->bp_nav[‘forums’]=false
add_action(‘bp_setup_nav’, ‘my_setup_nav’, 1000);it works and is hidded but I used with
// rename tabs
function mb_profile_menu_tabs(){
global $bp;
$bp->bp_nav[‘messages’][‘name’]=’Mails’;
add_action(‘bp_setup_nav’,’mb_profile_menu_tabs’,201);to rename some tabs and it worked as well but the counting bubble in the fronts disappeared and a small space is left before the activity tab. Could it be my functions that is causing extra space? how can I still retain those bubbles after renamed, Any idea please? Sorry for bothering you so much.
Thanks in anticipation.Your help is appreciated.

However, due to couple of impress by me, some changes that I made begins to show up. I would deactivate plugins and Still continue refreshing over and over, hope to get it fixed. And of cause finally the BOSS himself 🙂 @henrywright-1. Thank you very, very much for the great code. It worked greatly.
In reply to: change 'their' to 'his' or 'her' in activity streamOh thanks a million Henry,
Exactly, the filter will be what I need, to make it shown as your example,
Not changing the text.“if ( is a male ) {
// the filter will be ‘his’
} else if{
//is a female, the filter will be ‘her’
}
else {
// a group, e.g company; the filter will be ‘their’
}”am not really sure which of the BP file the update message that shows ‘their’ is located.
any idea?In reply to: Submit profile wall posts as blog posts?the plugin will automatically show their post title description(s) along other things they do in their activity/wall stream. But disabling the activities post feature will cost you losing all changes in your future upgrade. More also, the steam is tied to every activities buddy member involves in, probably you need only membership plugin to achieve your aim to less complexities. Goodluck
In reply to: change 'their' to 'his' or 'her' in activity streamThanks for your reply, I just want the update to be shown based on their status/gender instead of using plural for all, since their’s no field for users to insert their gender on thee profile, I’m just wondering how that could be fixed, any idea?
In reply to: change 'their' to 'his' or 'her' in activity streamHi Henry, Do you mean if I could includegender on registration page, the plural language thing will automatically change? If yes, any advice please?
In reply to: Submit profile wall posts as blog posts?Suggestion: what if you create a separate page for post submission, and use plugin which move their posts into your blog/post page, allows you to set as to pending to restrict automatic posting into your blog page. see plugin link below
