I’d already added that patch but separate to that under 3.0 and the latest 1.2.5 the activity (in the home page of http://retrofitdiaries.org) only seems to include the top level blog activity.

Activity Streams are set to work across the whole site (just one other test blog for now).

Can anyone suggest a reason?

As I suggested, I really don’t have confidence in the Buddypress forums, plus I also think I’ve come across a real usability question.
Nonetheless I made some strong coffee and believe I’ve gone and worked this one out myself (I’m inheriting the modified theme in my new theme).

@DJPaul Thanks Paul – yes I’m trying to modify a Buddypress template for a “sub blog”. The thing is it took some time to get an answer on the forums before yet for no apparent reason your perfect response to me has been pulled (and the search on here doesn’t really work).

  Suggest you make a new post on one of the support group forums. Are you trying to run this custom child theme on a WPMU install not on the main blog?
