Same problem.
WP 3.2.1 and BP 1.5.1
reverted back to BP default theme
Deactivated all plugins
Created new groups
and still not able to add a forum topic

Any suggestions?

Never mind, It populates the avatar even if the email was previously deleted

I am experiencing the same problem on a
WPMU new install
WP 3.0 RC3
1.2.4.1
Are others experiencing this issue?

I am seeing at least a few others who are having similar issues.
