@vapvarun Many thanks, if it’s not too stupid a question, at what point would I be able to remove BP Classic. I’m assuming the answer might be “when all the other plugin authors have updated their code”. But of course, that might be quite a while.

Thanks @vapvarun! I installed this plugin and tested the emails. I successfully received the email. I have WP SMTP mail set up as well, but people are still not getting email notifications from our BuddyPress group. Is this a “situation” thing from within BuddyPress? If so, I’m not sure how to create a situational email for group notifications.

In 12.0.0, Directory page are using a custom post type, and everything is manages from the URLs settings tab which replaces the Pages settings tab where page mapping were performed.

I deactivated WP Better Emails and BP registration options and now mails go out fine, it seems. I haven’t had any new registrations yet, though.

Will investigate more, when I have time, but I don’t think it is a Buddypress problem.
