Activation link doesn’t work

I hope you can help me I got an big error with my BP new user activating email.

1. When register on my website, you have to fill in a form. CHECK
Page: http://www.everybodychallenge.nl/my-ebc/login-aanmelden/

2. Check your email to activate your account message page. CHECK

3. Email received by user. CHECK

4. Activate by email url. FAIL FAIL FAIL
I got this mail: Thanks for registering! To complete the activation of your account please click the following link: http://www.everybodychallenge.nl/my-ebc/activeer-account/a8fc00a0677dc8851997a3d1e676159e/
BUT NOW: when clicking on that link, nothing really happens. You get a redirect to the homepage and the account is not been activated.
I see the this new user in my WP dashboard at Pending users (1). So now I have to manually activate all new users, i dont want that.

Please can anyone help me fix this?

hi @nnc24,

you have to read and to debug. As first test, activate 2015 theme and deactivate any plugin but BP. Put debug mode on true in wp-config during your test.

Hi danbp, thanks for your reply.
But this is not exactly the same problem that I am having.
I did read both topics but they are not really helpful for me, I still don’t know what to do now to fix this problem.

I get the activation email but when I click on that link, nothing really happens. It redirects me to my homepage. So I dont even get a message if the activation failed or succeeded.

Can someone please help me with a clear explanation what I need to do to fix this.
