Hi,

When I post something in the buddypress activity stream. It’s 7 hours behind. So it says Fernon posted 7 hours ago instead of 1 minute ago.

Does anyone have any idea what this could be? The wordpress and server time stamp settings are correct.

I’ve seen in other topics that this is a bug in Buddypress. Still can’t figure out how to solve this.

Problem can be theme related. Which theme do you use ?

There’re only few tickets about timestamp bugs.

Yes, it’s a bug that has resisted being definitely found since… a long time.

BP uses GMT to store timestamps and is supposed to apply a filter to factor in WP time settings, but in some installs it does not work.

You’re in the PST time zone?

Try pasting this in /plugins/bp-custom.php

It doesn’t fix the bug, but it should counteract it.

@shanebp Thanks mate! I pasted the code but I cant access wp-admin anymore now. Even when I delete the code and use the original file again I’m not able to access the admin panel. Btw my timezone is GMT, I live in amsterdam.

@shanebp Oh sorry never mind, it works perfectly now. I think it didn’t save properly trough the ftp before. Thanks a lot!
