Adding activity into a widget

I want to add my sites activity into an area on my homepage and i can do this by adding the sitewide activity widget but it looks rubbish.

Does anyone know a way of doing this or can recommend another widget please…

You can modify the widget output in your child theme styles.css
If you have a site url, it would be better for people willing to help you…

Would like it to just show the group or members avatar then then activity

I would like to show the posts from my activity page on my homepage but ideally just the last few and have them show with the avatar or group image related to each activity update.
