Yes, I added the <?php wp_footer(); ?> in the footer.php file, the stuff shows up as good old blue HTML links at the bottom of the pages. No floating grey bar. Could that be a CSS problem?

My theme did work with Buddypress on regular WP but now I switched to WPMU and the bar shows in that fashion.
