BP 12.3.x Requests Tab

When someone requests to join a group it would be nice to get a message and/or notification as well as when you are in the Group it would be nice that you get a number next to the Manage tab (like you do for Members to show you how many are in the Group) to show you how many Manage items are awaiting your action to draw your attention to the Requests tab that would show pending requests.
Currently Buddypress 12.3.0 doesn’t seem to have Messages or Notifications (which is weird so I’m probably missing something but I have searched high and low and don’t see anything)
So if you are running Buddypress 12.3.0 you have no way of knowing someone is waiting for you to approve them in a group you own.
