Hi, I have mentioned this before but 12.3 and BP Classic 1.4 hasn’t resolved it. It would appear the issue of Cross-Linked User Menu items is also being mentioned in the WBcom Designs Facebook Group so it’s not just me! When viewing another Member’s Profile and wanting to return to your own Profile via the User Menu top left, the menu items continue to be linked to the Member’s Page you are visiting. Deactivate BP Classic and the issue goes away. Hope you can resolve this. Thanks.

    Hi @windhillruss

Sorry to read you’re facing this issue. It should be resolved in next BuddyPress minor version. See #9108. If you are using a staging site (cloning your production site config), don’t hesitate to test the fix to be sure it’s also the case for your site’s config.

Hello, I have a problem installing BuddyPress from a “fresh” installation of WP. The WP installation works correctly, nothing to report. I go through the plugins admin page and search for buddypress, download it and install it and activate it. No error message, installation seems to work. I have the additional menu items including the URL slug management page. But none of the pages work, all fall to 404. Even if I change a slug for a custom one and save. Nothing works.

The only particularity is that the initial installation of WP is in French. But even if from this “fresh” installation in French I revert WP to US English, nothing happens, none of the slugs work!

    – BP Version 12.3.0
    – WP Version: 6.4.3
    – No extra plugins (only BP)
    – No extra feature added in BP (only the default features)

    Any help ?

I have a different problem. Activity posts are visible to the user who posted them on his profile page in Buddy Press Pro Theme, but they are not visible to anyone, even their author, on the Activity Page. Nor are any activity posts in any group visible to anyone, but their author and then only when he looks at his profile page. This problem seems to have occured sometime after March 14 of 2024.
