Buddypress + Events Manager Conflicting with Redirects

I have been using Buddypress 2.0.1 and Events Manager 5.5.3.1 for weeks without problem.
I noticed today that I’m getting some weird redirects that disappear WHEN I deactivate EM. This only seems to have started happening in the last few days. Coincidentally we have really been loading up EM with events … this is all I can think of that is different.
For example, with EM active …
a) At my groups page at http://rejoiceinthemission.org/groups/
b) I hover over the anchor text to the first group “Advance the Vision” and I see the link to http://rejoiceinthemission.org/groups/advance-the-vision/ (here’s a screenshot that shows the link in firebug too!)
c) I click on the link and I am redirected to http://rejoiceinthemission.org/events/advance-the-vision/ <– note –> ‘events’If I deactivate EM, I am directed to the correct page!
Anyone else having problems?
