I’m a little baffled on how BP forum is working, as I can’t find any mysql tables for it in the backend. I had some trouble a few weeks ago but got it sorted out eventually after uninstalling bbPress a few times etc. I was going to peek in the backend and see if I could change the author of a topic, but I don’t even know where the topic is being stored. I have BP 1.6, and the forum is working fine through the control panel and the site, but I have no idea how at this point. any suggestions?

Are you using group forums or site forum?

it’s meant to be a site wide forum. I don’t have a need for groups.
