“Complete sign up” button is masked by dropdown menu

Hello
I am using wordpress 4.8 and buddypress 2.4 (the latest of each) with premium theme Klein.
However, no body can register to my site because the second to last item (near the end of the register form) is a drop down menu “This field can be seen by: “. When the prospective member clicks this button, the dropdown menu covers the “complete sign up” button.
Therefore, they can’t click it and have to abandon their registration.
Any ideas?
I ahve already tried adding spacer elements between the second last and last buttons, but that does nothing.

I think that if I could set the “this field can be seen by:” to “nobody” permanently, and then change the text to a simple text field that states: “your real name will never be published” or “only you can see this field, it will never be published on line” (something like that). There should be no drop down box or other media button or anything.

Anybody any ideas how I could do that? I want all users to use the user name only. Their real name should never appear publically.
